Since its inception in 2019, Winter Takever at National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD has become the largest collaborative Divine Nine charity event in the DMV area.
The event, which has featured live entertainment and high profile DJs, is produced by a consortium of DMV-area Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. alumni chapters and
foundations, including Kappa Community Development Foundation.
Net proceeds from Winter Takeover benefit charities and causes funded by the alumni chapters and foundations.
