Since its inception in 2017, Kappa Takeover at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD has become the largest Divine Nine charity event on the East Coast.
The event, which has featured live entertainment and high profile DJs, is produced by a consortium of DMV-area Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. alumni chapters and foundations, including Kappa Community Development Foundation.
Net proceeds from Kappa Takeover benefit charities and causes funded by the alumni chapters and foundations.
Kappa Takeover has been on hiatus since 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic but we plan to return in June 2022. Stay tuned for more information.
